CID Skid Steer Pickup Broom

The CID Skid Steer Pickup Broom is a hydraulic sweeper attachment that sweeps up and collects dirt, gravel, snow and jobsite debris instead of just pushing it aside. It runs off your skid steer or compact track loader's auxiliary hydraulics and is built for contractors, property managers, municipalities and farm or shop owners who need surfaces cleaned up and debris hauled away. The 72″ and 84″ models run on 15–25 GPM, and CID also offers a 48″ model for compact tractors.

Which CID Pickup Broom Do I Need?

  • 48″ (PUBROOM48): CID's compact tractor pickup broom for narrower machines and tighter areas. Call us to confirm flow and fit for your tractor.
  • 72″ (PUBROOM72): for skid steers and compact track loaders flowing 15–25 GPM. 1,133 lbs.
  • 84″ (PUBROOM84): for larger skid steers and track loaders flowing 15–25 GPM that need a wider sweep path. 1,276 lbs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What hydraulic flow does the CID pickup broom need?

The 72″ and 84″ CID pickup brooms run on 15–25 GPM of auxiliary flow. Call us to confirm flow for the 48″ compact tractor model before ordering.

How much does the CID pickup broom weigh?

The 72″ pickup broom weighs 1,133 lbs. and the 84″ weighs 1,276 lbs. Make sure your machine's rated operating capacity can handle the broom plus the debris it collects.

What's the difference between a pickup broom and an angle broom?

An angle broom pushes debris to one side, while a pickup broom sweeps material up and collects it so you can carry it away and dump it, which leaves less mess behind.

Which bristles should I choose?

CID offers all poly, all wire or a 50/50 mix. Poly is lighter on finished surfaces and loose debris, wire is more aggressive for packed material, and the 50/50 mix splits the difference.

Can I replace worn bristles?

Yes. The 8″ core uses 26″ one-piece tubing bristle wafers that are individually replaceable, so you only swap the worn sections.

What size pickup broom do I need?

Pick a width at least as wide as your machine's tracks or tires: 72″ or 84″ for most skid steers and compact track loaders, or the 48″ model for compact tractors.
